Software License & Subscription Terms

What these terms cover

These terms apply when you download, buy or use a Gaemster WordPress plugin (for example Gaemster FormWatch), Gaemster software, or a Gaemster online service. They work together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Gaemster+ is a separate membership for players and doesn’t include plugin or software licenses.

WordPress plugins

Gaemster plugins are released under the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 2 or later, the same license as WordPress. Free versions are available to everyone. A paid license gives you access to Pro features, updates, support and any connected cloud features for the number of websites in your plan.

• Websites: each license covers the number of live websites listed in your plan. Staging, development and local copies of a licensed site don’t count toward the limit.
• License keys are for your sites (or your clients’ sites on Agency plans). Don’t share or resell them.

Renewals & expired licenses

Annual licenses renew automatically each year so your updates and support continue. You can turn off auto-renewal or cancel anytime through the billing method provided at purchase, or by contacting support. Renewal reminders and cancellation steps depend on the checkout you bought through and are shown at purchase.

If a license expires, your plugin keeps working — you just stop receiving updates and support, and features that rely on Gaemster’s servers (such as cloud monitoring or alerts) may stop. Renew anytime to turn them back on.

Lifetime licenses

Where we offer a lifetime license, it’s a one-time payment for updates and support for as long as we continue to develop that product.

• Plugins: annual and lifetime licenses where practical.
• Software that runs mainly in your browser or on your computer: annual and lifetime licenses may be available.
• Online services that run on Gaemster’s servers — automated monitoring, screenshots, storage, AI or API usage and other ongoing processing — are subscription only. A lifetime license never includes unlimited cloud resources.

If we ever stop developing a product, we’ll give lifetime license holders notice. The product you already have keeps working.

Software & online subscriptions

• Plans: monthly or annual, with the usage limits shown on each plan (for example captures, monitored pages or forms). If you go over a limit, we’ll let you know and you can upgrade.
• Billing: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime; your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
• Price changes: we’ll email you at least 30 days before a price change affects your renewal.
• Availability: we work hard to keep services running, but we can’t promise they’ll be available every moment. Scheduled maintenance and outages can happen.

Acceptable use

Only use Gaemster products on websites, forms and accounts you own or have permission to work with. For example, don’t use a monitoring or form-testing service on someone else’s website without their permission. Don’t use our products to break the law, send spam, overload other sites, or get around usage limits or license checks. We may suspend accounts that put other people, websites or our services at risk.

Support

Paid licenses and subscriptions include email support while they’re active. Free versions are supported on a best-effort basis. Contact us at support@gaemster.com.

Refunds

Try it risk-free: if a Gaemster plugin license or software subscription isn’t right for you, email us within 14 days of your first purchase for a full refund. Renewals and lifetime licenses can also be refunded within 14 days of the charge. After 14 days, payments aren’t refundable, and we don’t give partial refunds for unused time. Refunds go back to your original payment method.

Liability

Our products are provided “as is.” Monitoring tools help you spot problems, but they can’t guarantee every issue will be caught. To the extent the law allows, Gaemster isn’t liable for lost leads, lost data or indirect damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes & governing law

We may update these terms; when we do, we’ll change the date at the top of this page and, for important changes, email paying customers. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, USA.
