Privacy Policy

Saved on your device

Game progress, settings, badges, favorites and your Gaemster Passport are stored in your browser on your device (local storage). We don’t receive this information unless a feature below sends it to us. Clearing your browser data deletes it.

Information we collect

• Leaderboards: when a game submits a score, we store the score, the game, the time, a random player ID created in your browser and the display name you chose. Display names appear publicly on leaderboards.
• Shop orders: your name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number and order details, processed through WooCommerce.
• Payments: handled by WooPayments, PayPal and Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
• Contact form and waitlists: what you send us — such as your name, email, phone number and message.
• Plugin and software customers: your name, email, billing details, license keys, the plan you bought and the websites a license is activated on.
• License and update checks: when a Gaemster plugin checks for updates or validates a license, it sends your site address, license key, plugin version and WordPress and PHP versions. It doesn’t send your visitors’ personal information.
• Software and online services you use: what you give the service to do its job — for example the website addresses you ask us to capture or monitor, the screenshots, test results and reports it creates, and the settings in your account.
• Usage data: pages visited, device and browser type and approximate location, collected through Google Tag Manager / Google Analytics and site tools such as Jetpack (security and stats) and Akismet (spam filtering).

Advertising & cookies

We show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and opt out of personalized ads at adssettings.google.com.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalized ads or non-essential cookies are used.

Embedded videos

Some pages show Meep videos from YouTube. Videos load only when you press play, using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. Once you play a video, YouTube (Google) may set cookies and collect information as described in Google’s Privacy Policy.

Plugins & software data

Gaemster plugins are designed to keep your site’s data on your site. When a feature sends information to Gaemster — for example cloud monitoring or alerts — that feature explains what it sends. For online services, we keep your captures, results and account data while your account is active, and delete them within 30 days after you cancel, unless the law requires us to keep something longer. You can export your data before you cancel.

Who we share information with

• Printful, our print-on-demand partner, which receives what it needs to make and ship your order.
• Payment providers (WooPayments, PayPal and Stripe) to process payments.
• Service providers that host the site, send email, measure traffic, prevent spam and serve ads.
• Authorities, when required by law.

We don’t sell your personal information.

Children

Gaemster is made for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Our kids’ books are sold through Amazon, not on this site. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Your choices & rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and depending on where you live you may have additional rights. Email support@gaemster.com. To remove your leaderboard entries, send us the Player ID shown on your Gaemster Profile page.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we’ll change the date at the top of this page.
