FormWatch Documentation
Everything you need to set up and use Gaemster FormWatch.
What FormWatch does
FormWatch is a WordPress plugin that watches your site’s email and your contact forms, and alerts you when WordPress reports a failure. It is free, works on any number of sites and needs no account. Everything it records stays in your own WordPress database.
- Counts the email your site hands to its mailer, and records when a handoff fails.
- Recognizes form submissions from Contact Form 7, WPForms, Elementor Forms, Gravity Forms, Fluent Forms and Formidable Forms.
- Emails you when a failure is recorded, and shows a notice in your WordPress admin.
- Keeps a flight recorder of recent events, including plugin and WordPress updates.
Start here
- Install FormWatch and run the mail-path test.
- Set where failure alerts should go.
- Submit one of your forms and see it appear in the flight recorder.
